FORMER HOTELKEEPER IS LAID TO REST
Many Attend Obsequies for Manus Coyle —Beautiful Flowers
The funeral of Manus Coyle, for many years a Bethlehem hotelkeeper, was held on Tuesday morning from his late home 716 East Fifth street, and was largely attended by relatives and friends as well as delegations of members of Court Armor, No. 12 Foresters of America; Division No. 1, A. O. H.; Bethlehem lodge, Loyal Order of Moose and the Holy Infancy Holy Name Society. Solemn high mass of requiem in the Church of the Holy Infancy, of which he was a devout and zealous member, was celebrated by Rev. Joseph P. Duross, Rev. John T. Morton was deacon and Rev. Charles E. Bowles, sub—deacon. Rev. John P. Greene, R.S. Joseph J. Ullmann and Rev. Joseph C. Matera were present in the sanctuary. During the mass a special musical program was rendered under the direction of the organist, Miss Agnes McGovern. Solos were sung by Mrs. James Reilly. Burial was made in the family plot in St. Michael’s cemetery, where Father Morton and Father Matera officiated at the final absolution of the body. There were numerous floral taken. The pallbearers were: Honorary, Patrick and Dennis Sullivan, William Conroy, Pasquale Castiello, Patrick McArdle, Michael Kelly, James M. Degnan. Active, Alderman J. D. Kelleher, James Tomaney, Joseph Dwyer, Martin Quigney, Michael Smith and Harold Metzgar.
