 | Ryan, Michael: 1915 New York Census
|
 | Ryan, Michael J: 1925 Manifest SS Silva Michael sailed on 06 JAN 1925 aboard the SS Silvia from St. John's, Newfoundland en route to the Port of New York where he arrived on 11 JAN. He listed his home as 87 Quincy Street Brooklyn, NY - the same address where he would be living during the 1930 US Census. He likely was returning from a visit with relatives in St. John's. Kevin Patrick Ryan, a grandson of John Ryan (1868-1958) wrote that his grandfather remained in Newfoundland, so that strongly suggests that Michael, at the very least, visited his brother John.
An additional note of interest: Michael became a naturalized US citizen on 03 MAY 1921 in Brooklyn, NY |
