- James Martin's birth year was estimated based upon the age of his wife, Alice E. Kelly, who was born in about 1872.
RJCarr (01 FEB 2018): I have a DNA match in the J.L. family tree on Ancestry.com (See DNA link: Martin). Two names in that tree match this tree: Martin and Miller. A Martin match would be intriguing considering the Martin's in my tree are from Ireland and then PA. The Martin's in the J.L. tree originate in Ireland and then AR. James Martin in my tree reportedly left his family which included his daughter Mary Elizabeth Martin who would become is my paternal grandmother.
A Miller family match would be a bit more problematic since that line does not appear to be a common ancestry.
