TIER. - In this city, on Friday, Sept. 7th, 1877, HANNAH JANE, wife of George Tier, aged 46 years, 11 months and 27 days. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on SUNDAY, at 3 o'clock from the house, No. 280 Straight street, and 3 1/2 from the Willis Street Baptist Church. Interment at Sandy Hill.

George Tiers B. N.Y.C. in 1794 married Eleanor O'Neil Born Feb, 25, 1793 Died July 13, 1845, who was daughter of John O'Neil, born 1755, a soldier in the American Revolution, She was buried at Ramapo N.Y. He was married at Newton N.J. in 1738 (prob 1788 my handwriting) [Handwritten entry: 1785] to Margaret Osborne b 1762 He died Oct 3, 1826 at Monroe N.Y.
