Obituary |

Taylor, Betty Jo "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4 Betty Jo Scott Taylor, of Dallas, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2009. She was born on February 4, 1931 in Canton and moved to Dallas when she was thirteen. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1948 and married William (Bill) Robert Taylor on July 2 of the same year. They were married for 41 years, until Bill passed away in 1992. She had three beloved children who adored her immensely. Betty Jo worked in several doctor's offices her whole career, providing care to many over the years. She will be remembered most for her uncanny ability to love unconditionally, her generosity and her terrific sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone she touched. She was a member of Forney Baptist Church as a child and transferred to Casa View Baptist after she was married. Preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Pearl Scott, brothers Edgar, and Robert, two sisters, Audie and Dorothy and her husband Bill. She is survived by her three children Linda Osbourn of Dallas, Lisa Pritchett and her husband Ron of Colleyville, TX, and Brad Taylor and his wife Sandy of Phoenix, AZ. Grand children Andy McCaffrey, Mark McCaffrey, Taylor Lauren Pritchett and Austin Pritchett; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She fought a good fight, kept her faith and is now at peace. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 28, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home, located at 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243. A Celebration of Betty's life will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 12:30 pm in the Wildwood Chapel..
